11/16/2015, Removal-Fill and Fish Passage Requirements Workshop
Do you have a culvert, tide-gate, or dike that needs repair or replacement? Streams or drainage that need maintenance?
Join us on January 21st at the Coos County Annex Building (Owen room) in Coquille from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (coffee and refreshments provided, break for lunch at noon.) This is a free workshop hosted by the Coos Soil and Water Conservation District and featuring representatives from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Department of State Lands, Department on Environmental Equality, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Coos County Planning, and the Agricultural Water Quality Management Program.
Topics will include:
- When is a permit required?
- The basics of teh permit application process: a step-by-step guide
- State and Federal fish passage requirements
- Resources to turn to for technical and financial assistance
